Salary: Starting at $24 per hour, depending on experience

Shift:

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Equipment: Digital printing equipment, with Inca and EFI VUTEk experience preferred. Specific assigned equipment to be confirmed.

Digital Press Operator

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Digital Press Operator to join an established commercial printing and retail graphics manufacturing operation in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining digital printing equipment used to produce high quality signage, banners, decals, graphics, point of purchase displays, and other printed marketing materials.

The ideal candidate will have experience in digital printing or large format production, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor digital printing equipment

• Produce retail graphics, signs, banners, decals, and display materials

• Review job tickets, production specifications, artwork, and customer requirements

• Prepare printing materials and substrates for production

• Monitor color consistency, registration, image quality, and finished product accuracy

• Perform machine adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency

• Troubleshoot printing defects and equipment problems

• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance

• Inspect printed products for quality and accuracy

• Minimize material waste and production downtime

• Maintain accurate production records and job tracking information

• Coordinate with prepress, finishing, and production departments

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Experience operating digital printing or related manufacturing equipment

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications

• Understanding of print quality and color consistency

• Basic computer skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team

• Ability to meet production deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating Inca, EFI VUTEk, or similar digital printing equipment

• Experience with large format graphics, signage, or retail display printing

• Knowledge of digital printing substrates and color management

• Experience performing machine maintenance and adjustments

• Previous experience in commercial printing or point of purchase manufacturing

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds

• Frequent bending, reaching, and material handling

• Ability to work safely around industrial printing equipment
