About: Blackbaud University is the customer training team at Blackbaud, dedicated to powering social good with knowledge. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in collaborating between our training team and the Product Technology Group to support the build ing and maintain ing of sandbox environments to accompany our virtual instructor-led training experience across multiple products and ensure a delightful client experience. You should be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a proven ability to creatively solve problems and simultaneously manage multiple tasks .     

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements and build and maintain virtual training sandbox environments using technologies like .NET Core, C#, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, Azure, and REST APIs.  

• D evelop and maintain database and lab environments to support training needs, ensuring system health, reliability, and security.  

• Troubleshoot and resolve environment-related issues, including customer support escalations.  

• Track and document environment access, procedures, and configurations across Blackbaud software training solutions.  

• Coordinate with Curriculum Leads, Delivery Leads, Operations, IT, and external experts to meet install and environment requirements.  

• C o ntribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments (Azure DevOps, Azure PaaS).  

• M aintain integrations between core systems (e.g., Docebo Learn, Workday, Blackbaud Engineering System).  

• Administer API documentation libraries using Swagger/ OpenAPI ( Swashbuckle ).  

• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies to groom, plan, and deliver work; identify and resolve defects and technical debt.  

• I mprove environment quality through standards, testing, monitoring, and proactive alerting.  

• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain process documentation.  

• Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to meet project goals.  

What we will want you to have:    

• BS in Computer Science or related field.  

• 1–2 years of professional experience in software development.  

• Familiarity with SQL, Microsoft Azure, PowerShell, C#, REST APIs, and web technologies.  

• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, sprint planning, grooming).  

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.  

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.  

• Basic understanding of relational databases and integration practices.  

• Experience deploying code via CI/CD pipelines is a plus.  

• Exposure to Azure PaaS services and cloud environments preferred.  

• Experience working with international engineering teams.
