Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Springfield location (2660 South Fifth St.). In this role, you'll be the face of our company, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial part in our operations, ensuring timely and professional deliveries while building positive relationships with the customers you serve. • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver products to customers within assigned routes and territories
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiency
• Load, unload, and handle packages with care, ensuring products arrive in excellent condition
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery point, addressing customer inquiries and concerns
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, timestamps, and delivery confirmations
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Navigate using GPS and mapping technology to locate addresses and manage time effectively
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating a vehicle
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior to reflect our company's professional standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company standards for delivery operations
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery applications
• Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
• Positive attitude, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability and quality standards
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Preferred: Previous delivery or customer service experience
