Core Systems Engineer
About the Role
Join an early-stage fintech team building an AI-powered trading platform. You will develop the reliable, performance-sensitive infrastructure that supports trading workflows and helps make sophisticated trading more accessible.
What You'll Do
Build and improve order-handling systems, risk rules, and ledger infrastructure.
Scale low-latency systems to perform reliably under production load.
Apply systems engineering practices to correctness-critical financial workflows.
What We're Looking For
At least 8 years of systems engineering experience and strong software fundamentals.
Proficiency in Rust or strong C++ skills; experience with both is a plus.
Experience building low-latency, performance-sensitive, correctness-critical systems beyond web or CRUD backends.
Background in trading, payments, exchanges, fintech, or related financial markets is a plus.
Experience with order management, risk engines, or ledgers is valued.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range is $100,000 to $250,000 USD annually. The role includes meaningful equity. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Remote, with Munich, Bavaria, Germany as the primary location.
