Job Description

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for Indian sweets and desserts, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients.

• Support senior Halwais in preparing traditional Indian sweets, desserts, and other confectionery items.

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

• Learn and apply basic Halwai techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs.

• Assist in the proper storage and labelling of ingredients, semi-prepared items, and finished products.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.

• Help with kitchen inventory, monitor ingredient availability, and restock supplies as needed.

• Assist in preparing traditional Indian sweets and desserts according to local tastes and preferences in Lucknow.

• Participate in daily kitchen briefings and contribute ideas for improving sweet and dessert preparations.

Qualifications

•Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or any other equivalent qualifications

•2-4 year of experience in branded hotels and minimum 1 year experience in similar role.

•Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and mentoring.

Additional Information

2-3 Years of experience in hotel catering sales.
