Chef De Partie | Morayfield

We’re looking for a Full-Time Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Morayfield Tavern .

Located in Caboolture South, Morayfield Tavern is a busy local venue serving modern pub classics, grill favourites and smoked BBQ across lunch and dinner.

The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver consistent, quality food during service.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Overseeing a designated kitchen section such as grill, sauté, larder or fryer

• Preparing and cooking menu items to recipe and venue standards

• Ensuring food quality, consistency and presentation are maintained

• Supporting and training Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants

• Maintaining high food safety, hygiene and WHS standards

• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and stock rotation

• Minimising food waste and maintaining portion control

• Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth service

• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen throughout service

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef ready for the next step

• Experience working in a busy pub, bistro or similar commercial kitchen

• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene

• Ability to work well under pressure during busy services

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable, organised and able to take ownership of your section

• A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider kitchen team
