The Surgical Technologist II performs various tasks supporting perioperative services within the Franciscan team. This position assists multiple disciplines within the operating room by preparing patients and equipment for procedures, and maintaining environmental standards. This position, also, provides technical assistance to surgeons by anticipating procedures and equipment. The Surgical Technologist measures and passes medications, hemostatic agents, and other solutions.

• Types of surgeries include, General, Bariatric, Podiatry, GYN, GYN Oncology, Urology-GYN, Urology-Oncology, Colorectal, Vascular, Breast, Plastic, Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Ortho joints, Brain, Spine, Pediatric dental, Ophthalmology, Robotics

• Full time

• Call, and holiday rotation

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED Required

• 2 years CST experience required

• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association within 90 Days Required and

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required
