Cable Preparation Technician - Afternoon Model with Additional Allowance (f/m/x)

Anton Paar develops and produces high-precision measuring instruments as well as automation and robotics solutions. In this role, you ensure the reliable and timely supply of prepared materials for our electronics production.

Core working hours are from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., making this position ideal for those who prefer a later start. In addition to your regular salary, you will receive a flexibility allowance of €651 gross per month.

Job Description

• Responsibility for the highly automated wire production process within cable preparation
• Machine-based material preparation and cutting of cables, wires, and heat-shrink tubing according to production orders for weekly production
• Setup, maintenance and minor repairs of semi- and fully automated machinery
• Carrying out logistics and inventory-related activities
• Serving as a point of contact for colleagues in cable production regarding technical questions

Qualifications

• Completed technical education or apprenticeship; a specialization in electronics is an advantage
• Initial professional experience in a comparable production or work preparation environment is desirable
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken German skills
• Independent, structured, and precise way of working
• Good technical understanding and enthusiasm for working with automated production equipment
• Team spirit, a strong sense of responsibility, and good communication skills

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market.
