Your Role

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing embedded software solutions for power backup and production systems. You will contribute to software architecture, platform evolution, validation activities, and system integration while ensuring high standards of quality, scalability, and maintainability across multiple product generations.

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop real-time embedded software applications using C++ and C.
• Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, and long-term platform evolution.
• Develop highly reliable, maintainable, and scalable embedded solutions.
• Optimize software performance, memory usage, determinism, and execution efficiency.
• Debug and resolve complex issues across embedded software, hardware, and system interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
• Support system integration, validation, commissioning, and release activities.
• Develop automated testing and verification strategies for embedded applications.
• Contribute to SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) validation activities.
• Analyze field issues, perform root-cause investigations, and drive corrective actions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and present technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering, testing, and product teams.

Your Profile

• 6+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong expertise in Modern C++ including templates, type traits, memory management, and compile-time optimizations.
• Good understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time software development.
• Experience working on cross-platform and embedded software projects.
• Strong knowledge of software configuration management and version control systems.
• Experience with software integration, build management, and release processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software solutions for power backup and production systems.
• Perform software design, development, testing, and validation activities.
• Drive software quality through code reviews, static analysis, and testing practices.
• Support validation and verification activities across product lifecycles.
• Manage build, integration, and deployment activities using CI/CD tools.
• Investigate complex software and system-level issues.
• Collaborate with hardware, system, and validation teams to deliver robust solutions.
