About the Project

Join an international team delivering a large-scale digital transformation program for the public administration sector in Europe. The platform supports the modernization of critical registry processes, enabling secure information exchange, process automation, and integration between multiple government systems.

You will work in a multicultural environment alongside business analysts, architects, developers, testers, and domain experts, contributing to the continuous evolution of a complex enterprise solution used by public institutions.

Your Role

As a Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will gather and analyze requirements, support solution design, and ensure that business needs are translated into clear and actionable specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  • Conduct workshops and meetings with German-speaking stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into user stories, process models, and functional specifications
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with architects, developers, testers, and Product Owners
  • Support backlog management and prioritization activities
  • Review and clarify requirements throughout the development lifecycle
  • Participate in acceptance testing and business validation activities
  • Create and maintain project documentation
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams

 

Mandatory Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects
  • Fluent German (minimum B2/C1 level) and excellent command of English
  • Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
  • Experience conducting workshops, stakeholder interviews, and business process analysis
  • Knowledge of business process modeling techniques (UML, BPMN, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience with electronic file management and Document Management Systems (DMS/ECM)
  • Understanding of document lifecycle management, records management, workflows, metadata, and digital case file handling
  • Hands-on experience with DMS/ECM platforms such as d.velop, OpenText, or similar enterprise solutions
  • Ability to translate document-related business requirements into functional specifications and user stories

Nice to Have

  • Experience in public sector, government, or regulated industries
  • Knowledge of SDLC and enterprise application development
  • Experience with integration projects, APIs, and enterprise systems
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of information governance, archiving, records compliance, or digital records management
  • Experience working in international and distributed teams
