Job Description:
- Collaborate with team members and clients to support the development of web applications and data visualization tools
- Complete assigned tasks within an Agile development framework, contribute to development sprints, and use tools such as Jira and Confluence to track progress and maintain technical documentation
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and processes to support product design and planning
- Develop test plans and test cases
- Perform manual software testing and execute automated test cases
- Develop familiarity with socioeconomic and environmental datasets, as well as federal environmental programs
- Analyze, summarize, and interpret environmental data and scientific findings
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and client status meetings
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, health science, environmental science, or a related interdisciplinary field, such as mathematics, science, or engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- One to four years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to successfully complete a Public Trust background investigation as part of the credentialing process for working with federal clients
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks accurately and on schedule
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work to meet evolving project demands
- Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous learning, including the ability to acquire and apply new skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Certified ScrumMaster certification or a similar credential
- Experience writing automated test cases using Selenium, SoapUI, or similar software
- Experience using Qlik, Tableau, or other data visualization software
