Box Truck Driver (Non-CDL)

The Box Truck Driver role will ensure safe, on-time delivery of product from Gopuff’s Distribution Center (DC) to multiple locations across the local network every day. This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver looking for steady, local work and home every night, including but not limited to:

• Daily local multi-stop deliveries from the Gopuff DC to Micro-fulfillment Centers (MFC’s)
• Loading and unloading small goods at every stop
• Adhoc pickups, transfers and returns, as needed

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a non-CDL box truck (under 26,001 lbs GVWR) on daily local routes with multiple stops per day
• Load the truck at the DC and unload product at each stop by hand, hand truck or pallet jack
• Verify product counts against delivery paperwork and capture proof of delivery at every stop
• Follow assigned routes and delivery windows; communicate delays or issues to the Transportation team in real time
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Secure and protect product in transit to prevent damage and shrink
• Keep the truck clean, organized and ready for the next shift
• Represent Gopuff professionally with site teams at every location

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required)
• 2+ years of professional box truck / straight truck driving experience; local multi-stop delivery experience strongly preferred
• DOT medical card recommended
• Must pass MVR review, background check and drug screen
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet, bending and climbing in and out of the truck throughout the shift
• Comfortable using GPS and a handheld device / phone app for routing and proof of delivery
• Military experience is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay:

• Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing, and pay may vary depending on your location. Compensation for U.S. locations is based on a cost-of-labor index for that geographic area.
