Associate iOS Developer
Build iOS experiences that are reliable, accessible and thoughtfully engineered.
Join Resmed in Singapore as an Associate iOS Developer, building and maintaining native iOS features that support dependable digital experiences.
You will work collaboratively to turn designs and API contracts into polished SwiftUI screens, connect them to backend services, and ensure your work is well tested and accessible. From writing clean code and solving production issues to reviewing pull requests and contributing to sprint delivery, you’ll have a hands-on role in building quality software while continuing to grow your craft.
What You'll Do
- Build SwiftUI screens and reusable components from design specifications.
- Connect user interfaces to backend services through REST APIs.
- Manage application state with clear, unidirectional data flow and keep business logic separate from views.
- Create adaptive layouts that work across device sizes, orientations, Dark Mode and Dynamic Type.
- Build accessibility into the user experience, including VoiceOver labels and appropriate touch targets.
- Apply MVVM principles to separate data, presentation logic and user interfaces.
- Write unit and UI tests and resolve issues identified through QA or in production.
- Use modern asynchronous programming approaches including async/await, @MainActor and Combine.
- Create focused pull requests, review teammates’ code and respond constructively to feedback.
- Contribute to stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives, raising blockers early and helping the team deliver effectively.
What You Bring
- Solid knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI, including @State, @Binding, @Environment and @Observable.
- Understanding of Swift fundamentals including optionals, protocols, closures, value and reference types, ARC and error handling.
- Knowledge of structured concurrency, task cancellation, Combine and concurrency safety.
- Familiarity with MVVM and protocol-based dependency injection for testable code.
- Ability to build layouts using SwiftUI components such as stacks, lists, grids, ScrollView and NavigationStack.
- Familiarity with Xcode, including the simulator, debugger, Instruments, SwiftUI previews and Swift Package Manager.
- Understanding of Git workflows, feature branches, commits, rebasing or merging, conflict resolution and code reviews.
- Knowledge of unit testing using XCTest or Swift Testing.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with a willingness to ask for help, share progress and contribute to the team.
Nice to Have
- SwiftData or Core Data knowledge for persistence.
- Familiarity with iOS CI/CD using Xcode Cloud, Fastlane or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to accessibility, localization or regulated environments such as healthcare, where privacy and quality matter.
What Sets You Apart
- Curious mindset: Stay interested in new Apple APIs and look for opportunities to keep learning.
- Collaborative approach: Contribute openly to discussions, code reviews and shared team outcomes.
- Openness to feedback: Welcome different perspectives and use constructive input to improve your work.
- Proactive communication: Share progress clearly, surface blockers early and ask for support when needed.
- Adaptability: Adjust comfortably to team conventions and evolving ways of working.
- Quality mindset: Take thoughtful ownership of delivering dependable work and addressing issues when they arise.
