About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Associate, Director Project Management with a focus on email. In this role, you will provide comprehensive email support, project management, and program management specifically for email campaigns. You will manage and create campaign timelines, support with Campaign Requirement Documents (CRDs), and carefully review creative assets. You will closely collaborate with product marketing managers (PMMs), email campaign ops teams, creative partners, and email vendor partners to ensure seamless execution across all email programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Email Program & Project Management:
    • Work with email campaign ops and localization teams through final approval and campaign deployment.
    • Communicate project status, updates, and potential roadblocks to stakeholders regularly.
    • Create, manage, and maintain comprehensive timelines and project schedules for email campaigns identifying and mitigating risks.
    • Utilize project tracking tools / Google sheets to support efficient email program management.
    • Support the creation, alignment, and management of Campaign Requirement Documents (CRDs) to ensure all technical and strategic specifications are clearly defined.
  • Email Campaign & Operations Support:
    • Oversee end-to-end email campaign execution, ensuring messaging accuracy, QA compliance, and consistency across all email sends.
    • Review creative assets and copy to ensure alignment with CRDs, brand standards, and technical requirements prior to deployment.
    • Liaise with email campaign ops and production teams on campaign requirements, targeting criteria, and template specifications.
    • Keep work moving forward, proactively following up with key stakeholders as needed.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline email campaign workflows, documentation, and hand-offs with email campaign ops and creative partners to improve efficiency and speed to market.
    • Update and maintain process documentation
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, product marketing managers, regional marketing teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.

About You

The essentials:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in email marketing, campaign ops, or digital marketing environments.
  • Experience with project tracking and management tools such as Asana, Jira, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and other collaboration platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a strong ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
  • Must be able to work effectively within Google's established systems and processes.

What We Offer

Monks has provided an hourly rate that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The rate offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Hourly Rate $60 — $70 USD
