The Marketing team in Latin America defines and evolves how Spotify shows up across the region. We shape brand experiences that feel authentic, inclusive, and deeply rooted in music culture. In Mexico, our work connects artists, fans, and communities through bold storytelling and culturally fluent creative execution.
The Art Director plays a critical role in defining and driving Spotify’s brand in the region. Working across disciplines, the Art Director ensures Spotify shows up in ways that feel authentic, inclusive, and deeply connected to music culture.
While focused on Mexico, the role sits within the broader Latin American organization and may contribute to regional projects where local creative leadership is required.
What You'll Do
- Bring creative concepts to life through strong visual direction and design craft across music campaigns, artist programs, and editorial moments in Latin America.
- Translate creative strategy and narratives into compelling visual systems that feel culturally fluent and distinctly Spotify.
- Partner closely with Creative Directors, designers, marketers, and cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and high-quality creative work.
- Develop and execute visual assets across multiple formats, including digital, social, experiential, and in-product surfaces.
- Ensure consistency with Spotify’s brand while pushing creative boundaries in ways that feel relevant to local music communities.
- Collaborate with external partners and agencies, providing clear visual guidance and feedback.
- Contribute to an inclusive and collaborative creative culture where diverse perspectives are valued and amplified.
Who You Are
- You have experience as an Art Director or senior visual creative within music, culture, entertainment, or a related creative industry.
- You bring a strong visual point of view and a sharp eye for detail, composition, typography, and storytelling.
- You have a deep understanding of Latin American culture and how visual language resonates across different markets in the region.
- You are comfortable working across teams and disciplines, translating ideas into clear visual direction.
- You care deeply about craft, representation, and inclusivity in creative work.
- You are adaptable, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.
- You communicate clearly and welcome feedback as part of the creative process.
Where You'll Be
- This role is based in Mexico City, Mexico.
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 2-3 times a week.
