AI Creative Strategist

Remote United States only

iFIT’s vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health - physical fitness, mental health, nutrition and active recovery - into a seamless interactive experience. We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their own individual fitness journey.

Make the ads that grow a new AI fitness app

We're building an AI-powered fitness app that adapts to each person, and we need a creative who can both decide what to make and make it. You'll turn data into ideas, produce ads with AI tools, and see your work running in front of real audiences every week.

This role is for you if…

  • You've made performance ads, not just brand work, and you can show what won and why.
  • AI tools are part of how you produce every day, not an experiment.
  • You love the loop: idea, ad, result, better idea.
  • You'd rather ship ten good variants this week than one perfect ad next month.
  • You want to build a creative engine from the ground up on a small team.

Why now

The iFIT app is early and growing, and paid acquisition is scaling. We're building a lean, AI-first user acquisition team, and creative is the engine. You'll be one of its first hires and set how it works.

Summary

iFIT's vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health (physical fitness, mental health, nutrition and active recovery) into a seamless interactive experience. We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their own individual fitness journey.

We're looking for an AI Creative Strategist to run the creative engine behind paid acquisition for the iFIT app. You'll decide what ads to make, make them yourself with AI tools, read the results, and make the next round better. You'll report to the Director of User Acquisition and work daily with our channel managers on Meta, TikTok, Google and Apple Search Ads.

AI tools have made ad production fast. What's scarce is knowing which ad to make and why, and learning quickly from every test. This role combines both: the strategy of a performance creative strategist and the hands-on output of a producer. It isn't a brand creative role, and it isn't a briefing-only role. You'll ship ads every week.

Role Commitments

Year-one outcomes, each with a measurable target agreed in your first 30 days:

  1. Run a high-volume testing cadence. Launch a steady weekly flow of new concepts and variants across paid channels.
  2. Find and scale winners. Raise the share of spend going to winning creative, and replace fatigued ads before performance drops.
  3. Build the AI production pipeline. Set up the tools, templates and workflows that let one person produce at the volume of a small team.
  4. Turn results into insight. Keep a living record of which audiences, hooks, offers and formats win, and share it with the Director of UA and Brand, Product & Partner Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Creative strategy (~30%)

  • Turn audience insight, performance data and market trends into hooks, angles, offers and concepts for app acquisition.
  • Own the creative testing roadmap with the Director of UA: what to test, in what order, and what we expect to learn.
  • Write acquisition messaging and copy for ads, app store creative and paid landing pages, within brand guidelines.

AI-assisted production (~40%)

  • Produce static, video and UGC-style ads yourself, using AI image, video, voice and editing tools alongside standard design software.
  • Create variants at volume: formats, lengths, hooks, languages and sizes for each platform.
  • Brief and manage freelancers, UGC creators and vendors when work needs more capacity or higher craft.
  • Use AI within iFIT's policies on AI use, data privacy and intellectual property, including rights to likenesses, music and trainer content.

Testing and analysis (~30%)

  • Work with channel managers to launch, read and iterate on creative tests.
  • Analyze creative performance (hook rate, CTR, CPI, CAC and conversion) and decide what to scale, iterate on or kill.
  • Spot creative fatigue early and keep a pipeline of replacements ready.

How You'll Work with Others

Brand, Product & Partner Marketing

What Success Looks Like

In your first 30 days

  • Brand guidelines and the review turnaround with Brand, Product & Partner Marketing are agreed.

  • At least one new winning concept has scaled across channels.
  • Freelance and UGC creator support is set up for surge capacity.
  • A shared record of winning audiences, hooks, offers and formats is in use.

By the end of your first year

  • Winning creative drives a growing share of spend, and fatigued ads are replaced before performance drops.
  • Testing volume has grown without adding headcount.
  • Creative learnings regularly shape acquisition messaging and brand positioning.

Education and/or Experience

Basic qualifications (measurable, disqualifier)

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Communications or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

  • Proficiency in standard design and video editing software
  • Ad copywriting experience: hooks, scripts and on-screen text, with performance results

  • Working knowledge of Meta, TikTok, Google and Apple Search Ads creative formats
  • Has managed freelancers or UGC creators
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred qualifications (non-measurable, not a disqualifier)

  • Fast and organized: ships weekly while juggling several workstreams
  • Equal parts strategist and maker, with strong instincts for what stops the scroll
  • Experience with a consumer subscription or mobile app, ideally health, fitness or wellness
  • Experience scaling UGC and creator content for paid use
  • Experience localizing creative for international markets
  • Experience building creative testing frameworks or creative analytics dashboards
