AfterQuery: novel datasets and data infrastructure for frontier AI labs (85 people, $34M raised, SF).
Comp: $250K-$350K base (OTE $300K-$450K (bonus up to $100K)) + competitive equity. Location: On-site 5 days, FiDi SF. Visa: Visa transfers (OPT, H1B).
Responsibilities
Design/build core shared infra for data generation, HITL systems and eval pipelines
Own foundational systems for scale and reliability
Provide platform/services to vertical eng teams
Architect distributed systems for large-scale, high-throughput workloads
Set eng best practices; mentor the junior team
Tech stack: Node.js, Python, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, AWS, GCP

Requirements
6-10 yrs platform infrastructure with full-stack capability
Scalable, reliable, high-throughput systems track record
Node.js, Python, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, AWS/GCP
Mentoring; HITL data or high-growth startup a plus
