The Clinical Evidence Implementation Liaison, will function as a field-based extension of Medicine serving as the account medical lead working with key decision makers within organized customer organizations including payors, health-systems (IDNs), pharmacy benefit managers, and other organizations providing coordinated, systemic and population-based patient care.  The role provides focused medical support for prioritized therapeutic areas, assets, and organized customer accounts, enabling greater depth of scientific engagement, account insight generation, and implementation science support.

Beyond scientific exchange, the CEIL partners with the account to diagnose care-delivery gaps along the patient journey, identify implementation opportunities aligned to BI's Implementation Science strategy, and support co-designed, evidence-based interventions that improve diagnosis, guideline-directed treatment adoption, patient outcomes, and health-system performance.

The CEIL manages a deliberately prioritized portfolio of organized customer accounts, concentrating effort based on TA and asset priorities, account strategic relevance, unmet need, organizational readiness, and the potential for measurable impact. The portfolio may include regional and large regional accounts spanning multiple geographies.

The CEIL applies independent judgment and established criteria to assess opportunities within the assigned portfolio and identify potential new accounts. The role provides evidence-based recommendations regarding account prioritization and changes in focus to CEIL and TA/CDMA leadership. Material changes to portfolio composition or resource commitments remain subject to established governance.

The CEIL will have a basic knowledge of implementation-science methodologies and quality-improvement methods to serve as a credible and knowledgeable scientific resource to assigned accounts and account teams.

The CEIL will serve as an account-focused resource who will, in adherence to the principles of scientific exchange, obtain scientific insights driven by approved scientific objectives to inform the strategies and objectives of Medicine. The CEIL operates within the TA/Asset strategy and prioritization, set by CDMA leadership. The CEIL role is essential to ensure that Medicine remains customer focused and considers the needs and focus of the managed markets customer base in developing its medical/scientific strategy. The CEIL monitors relevant healthcare and account trends and provides actionable insights to Medical Affairs Strategy Teams and account partners to inform medical and account planning.

Duties & Responsibilities

The CEIL provides account insights to support the development and refinement of TA account objectives and coordinates with CEIL leadership, TA/CDMA, and relevant account-team partners to support aligned execution.
